C L’s daughter was an assistant manager at United Supermarkets Market Street Store at 50th and Indiana, Lubbock, TX and C L mentioned to her, “I really miss the companionship of the guys from the Honor Flight.” She responded, “Why don’t you call some of them and see if you can meet for coffee?” He did as she suggested and C J “Bunk” Soloman, Andy Winnegar, Robert Compton and four or five others showed up at Peet’s Coffee located in Market Street.
